The main aim of the project "Zero waste - MAXImum benefits" was to increase the competences of youth workers in the area of Zero Waste project work - logistically and in terms of content. An important element of the project was to increase empathy towards the environment - the natural environment, objects and people. We understood Zero Waste here not only as taking care of natural, material resources, but also the "human resources" in the projects - the young people, the coordinators, the leaders and their mutual respect. Through the implementation of the project: 1. improving the competences of 24 trainers, coordinators and youth leaders (workers) from 8 countries in the area of using the Zero waste theme in youth work, by acquiring knowledge of what the ZW idea is; how it can be used as a starting point for working on different themes related to areas such as personal development, group work, community or of course ecology. 2. to improve the skills of the above-mentioned people in the area of implementation of ZW elements in the management and organisation of projects, workshops and trainings. 3. to improve the quality of Erasmus + projects, through the development of ideas for local, international activities, using the content and logistical knowledge of IR acquired during the training. 4. to increase the level of key competences in social and pro-civic actions, initiative and entrepreneurship.
