Our main goals established during the project's creation and submission were to create time and space for young people to improve the quality of their face-to-face communication, reduce their screen time, raise awareness of the dangers and consequences of prolonged use of the computer, phone, social media and other methods of spending time online, and raise awareness of mental illnesses that more and more young people are experiencing. Through this project, participants were to learn how to use digital media and social networks in the right way and develop more active communication habits. Regardless of age, religion, habits, beliefs, backgrounds and traditions, they will have more time to improve their personal communication skills in an environment with different people, leading to greater tolerance, understanding and openness to otherness in a peer environment. We don't want to negate the significant and positive impact that digitization brings, but safety and awareness are our main goals. We are committed to ensuring that participants create bonds with each other that are based on proper communication underpinned by respect and honesty, and time fully spent with each other as people - without distractions in the form of social media and phones and computers. Communing with nature and self-reflection will also be a high priority.
