Initially, ACT for Nature wanted to give the chance to young people from different countries to get involved in the discussion about the topic of environmental protection, sustainability, and eco - activism. By doing so, between the days 26 of June and 1st of July 2022, 30 youngsters from Poland, Portugal, Greece, Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine had the chance to develop their sense of criticism and entrepreneurship and to become more conscious about the environmental problems in their own countries and the countries of their peers, and some tips and ideas on how to solve them. The main goal of “Act for Nature” was to support young people in to address these issues by motivating them in small, everyday actions of sustainability. From the moment of application, the objectives of the project were to: - raise awareness of the environmental problems; - educate young people on the ways they can solve the problems and to make a local impact on the environment; - develop soft skills (group work, communication skills, sense of initiative, creativity and responsibility); - raise awareness to European projects and dissemination of EU values among young people; - motivate young people to participate in formal and non-formal education; - promote intercultural dialogue; - encourage the learning of foreign languages. Upon the implementation of the youth exchange, what we achieved was: - 118 new trees planted in the Polish Forest; - collected trash in a touristic path to the Sanctuary of May of Snow; - An exhibition in the town of Międzylesie, for more than 50 local people, raising awareness for the environmental cause; - Raised awareness among 30 participants from different countries, plus local youth and community of Bystrzyca Kłodzka and Międzylesie, for the environmental cause; - Increased knowledge among participants about other countries environmental situation, thanks to the activity "My country, my environment" with power pint presentations done by the groups; - Increased knowledge about Erasmus + and it's opportunities;
