Europejskie Forum Młodzieży (EFM) had a special motivation to implement the project "International Education of Youth Workers and Development of NGOs", which concerned practical educational experience. We believed that the implementation of practical educational experience (job shadowing) would have a very good impact on our youth workers professional and personal development. Plus, our organisation also wanted to enable long-term project coordinators to take advantage of job shadowing, in order to break the routine in project implementation as well as transfer of knowledge to the organisation. The initial objectives of WIDE NGO, according to the project application, were as follows: aid the professional development of EFM youth workers; - knowledge transfer from experienced organizations in Europe; - exchange of experiences; - improving English language skills, in particular industry vocabulary; - improving the quality of projects implemented under the Erasmus + Programme and the European Solidarity Corps; - introduction of new innovative solutions in the implementation of projects involving young people with fewer opportunities; - implementation of new educational methods in youth work; - EFM capacity building; - ensuring more attractive projects for young people, in particular young people with fewer opportunities in line with their expectations and needs; - more effective actions for the local community; - creating a more modern, dynamic and friendly environment within EFM for local and foreign youth; - skillful use of new technologies to manage projects, disseminate project results and create a modern and recognized organisation brand.
