The project Youth Exchange with Lithuania and Italy, which aims to analyze and examine the causes of low social activity among young people and their poor identification with the EU, as well as indicating the motivational ways to be an active and aware EU citizen. The project was born as a result of the personal experience of the applicant and partner organizations, their various studies and analyzes, and is a response to the data contained in publicly available official EU and national documents, which clearly indicate very low youth activity. Through the implementation of this project, we encourage the young generation to spread the fashion of being aware and active citizens, and to young people whose activity is not indifferent, we will show even more opportunities for action. To achieve this, project participants will develop an innovative catalog of benefits of being an active national and European citizen, point out the braking factors that cause reluctance to act, and also try to answer the question what Europe, EU Member States, school or parents can do to show that being an active citizen is needed and brings a number of tangible benefits.
