We believe that awareness in the field of knowledge about the culture and traditions of the Slavs is very small. In schools, not much time is devoted to learning about our Slavic roots, and in our opinion, this is not only very interesting, but also allows you to better understand where our traditions and holidays, for example, came from. Thanks to the exchange, we will be able to show the youngsters that our history is not boring and goes much further than the beginning of the formation of our countries. Our partners from Czech Republic and Croatia will play an extremely important role because they represent Western and Southern Slavs. Together, we decided that it is necessary to take action to strengthen the ties between participants from each country, as well as to transfer to each other the knowledge and skills that we need not only in terms of knowledge about history and culture, but also to work and function in a modern society. During the exchange, we want to explore, through performative learning and learning from each other, how the culture and history of the Slavs influenced modern times and confront it with the perspective of all national groups. Each of the partner organizations noticed the need to integrate and share the knowledge we have, and to apply non-formal education to deepen it. The exchange program enables participants to expand their cultural expression, mainly through the use of performative ways of learning about culture that allow us to "touch" our common history. They will acquire both hard and soft skills. This will take place thanks to various workshops, simulations, creating a series of films, as well as by inviting reconstruction group to work with us - we believe that it will bring us closer to the realities of our ancestors' times. Such activities will greatly develop the learning skills of participants who will experience non-formal education methods for the first time. The key element of exchange is the synthesis and sharing of knowledge that we will gain from each other. Through such activities, we want to understand how our culture and history shaped the world in which we live and will allow cultural integration between young people from Poland, Czech Republic and Croatia. We know that common roots can help us build wonderful and long-lasting relationships between us and our organizations, which is why we want to delve into this topic. Members of both the applicant organization and those invited to cooperate feel the need to deepen this knowledge and to strengthen ties between our nations. Through this exchange, we want to also learn the best from each other.
