Objectives

The implementation of the program and its assumptions were to have an impact on the active cultural dialogue of young people with fewer opportunities. Young people showed great interest in the culture of European countries, the rules prevailing on the labor market, the rules prevailing in the process of education and practical vocational training. The concept of "Europe" has become more tangible and achievable, especially in the era of war in Ukraine. The project was supposed to contribute and encourage young people to try to communicate in a language other than their mother tongue, to learn about the partners' culture, traditions and history, and the time spent together filled with activities based on forms of non-formal education was to result in establishing long-term contacts between youth participants and partner organizations. The knowledge gained by the youth participants was promoted and passed on to the community from the closest environment of the youth: family, school, center and local community. Through project activities, we intended to achieve the following goals: building intercultural dialogue by learning about the partner's culture, history and traditions, learning tolerance and openness by building friendly relations between young people from Poland and Slovakia, activating young people with fewer opportunities. The implementation of the main objectives was to contribute to the fulfillment of specific objectives: promotion of cultural diversity, networking, raising the level of key competences and skills, including knowledge of foreign languages, increasing soft skills, developing good practices in the use of non-formal education. This goal was achieved through numerous activities together with a partner group, where the workshops showed social and cultural differences. An additional goal was to compare the methods of education and work by the tutors with the above-mentioned people in European countries. Thanks to their involvement in the project, specific goals were achieved: participants acquired the ability to look at the world around us, learned to cooperate with each other and with colleagues from another country, patience, tolerance and understanding a different approach to problems and ways to solve them. There was an increase in language competences through participation in language animation exercises - they learned polite expressions and sayings expressed in their native languages; increase in self-confidence and self-esteem. Acquaintances were established, relations with people from another country improved. There has been an increased interest in job opportunities in another country, professional mobility. Young people from different countries got to know the traditions, culture and history of nations over the centuries. The meeting brought closer the knowledge of the environment and the specificity of their region, the participants jointly discussed family values related to European cultural values of the local community of nations. The project contributed to strengthening one's self-esteem and improving one's workshop, cognitive and language skills. Participants promote the ideas of foreign exchanges, cooperation and tolerance for other attitudes and views in their family circles. In the environments where they come from, they show patterns and the so-called paving the way for establishing foreign contacts. The above goals were achieved through joint, active spending time with each other. The knowledge gained by the youth participants is promoted and passed on to the community from the immediate environment of the youth: family, school, center and local community. Through project activities, we achieved the assumed goals, i.e.: building intercultural dialogue by learning about the partner's culture, history and traditions, learning tolerance and openness by building friendly relations between young people from Poland and Slovakia, activating young people with fewer opportunities. The implementation of the main objectives contributed to the fulfillment of the specific objectives: promoting cultural diversity, networking, improving the level of key competences and skills, including knowledge of foreign languages, increasing soft skills, developing good practices in the use of forms of education. The project translated into the specific objectives of the Erasmus plus program by raising the level of key competences and skills, in particular in terms of their relevance for the labor market and their contribution to social cohesion, in particular through increased opportunities for learning mobility and through increased cooperation between education and training and working environment; and improving the teaching and learning of languages and promoting the Union's wide linguistic diversity and intercultural awareness.
