See me through is being noticed. Being noticed is something that: - youngsters are searching and need in today's "broadband" life. - non profit and social organisations lack and loose the battle to for-profit initiatives, that fuel the image with ads and attentive marketing. Having this in mind, it is not enough to be just great youth worker, it is crucial how youth workers are perceived by youngsters. Here comes the need of See me through. The project "See me through" has it basis on the on-going raise and importance of self branding and digital skills in the modern society. The project efficiently combines the two aspects in learning branding techniques, while developing practical skills that youth workers lack as media creators. Our objective is to bring 32 youth workers representing 10 countries and 10 non profit organisations: Lotos Poland, Roes Cooperativa, Greece, Younique, Czech republic, Weunite, Austria, Smokinya, Bulgaria, Ticket2 Europe, Spain, Klick, Germany, New wellness Education, Zig Zag Prin Romania, Romania, Key, Cyprus. The participants are interested in learning about media, branding and accessing digital tools for learning. Methodology used is a combined form of "learning by experience" - as a form of learning from experiencing different activities and putting it into practice in the daily life and routine, "learning to play, playing to learn" connected with learning from games, from actions and playful environment and "media practices" a method we developed in having youth workers as media creators. Through the training course we bring participants in an intercultural context in Poland to increase their competences and abilities in the practical creational side, the branding side, but also through leadership, communication and intercultural activities that will give 2x increase in their digital/ICT competences. Moreover, the impact and results replicate also in the partner countries, where the participants are going to follow up with the creation of their own branding campaign and videos. See me through has 2 phases: - Training course 3-11 November 2020 - Local Action Phase December 2020 - January 2021 Project aim is to develop youth workers’ competences regarding branding and video making as a powerful tool for promoting their organisations in order to reach young people and increase their impact. Furthermore, we aim at having a multiplier effect, so by enhancing youth workers’ media literacy they will have the skills to enhance media literacy among youth in their organisations. Objectives: - Boost awareness among youth workers about the importance of branding and video as a tool for disseminating their results and raise the visibility of their organisations in order to increase their impact. - Equip youth workers with knowledge on how to create a story with a clear message, to film efficiently and to use media channels effectively in order to promote it and reach their target group. - Enhance youth worker’s skills in directing, filming, editing and publishing videos. - Raise participants' understanding of media, the process of promoting media messages with special focus on social media as one of the most popular communication channels of young people these days. - Learn-by-doing during the TC creating 5 promotional videos for 5 local organisations in Poland, having a positive impact on the local level and supporting them to reach their target groups.
