Objectives

The project "Let's play for change" was designed to equip youth workers with new competences, useful in dealing with topics of various global challenges in working with young people, mainly based on interactive forms, such as games and simulations. The main activity under the project was the organization of the training "Let's play for change", which took place on June 4-11, 2022 (including travel days) in Bukowina Tatrzańska. The participants of the training were leaders and youth leaders from Poland, Georgia, Spain and Ukraine - people working every day with young people in partner organizations, aged mainly from 18 to 30 years, although there were also individuals from outside this age range. The entire training was conducted with the use of non-formal education methods. The main goal of the project was to increase the competence in the selection and creation of own tools in work with youth among young leaders from 4 countries for the effective shaping of young people's attitudes in response to contemporary challenges Detailed objectives: - developing the competences of young leaders in the use, selection, creation of games and other interactive tools - learning about new forms of work and exchanging good practices in the field of methods used in work with young people - drawing young leaders' attention to local and global problems and encouraging them to take them up - promoting respect for multiculturalism During the training, in practice, we showed various interactive forms that can be used in youth work - board and city games, field games, simulations. Therefore, the training program was structured in such a way as to get to know as many such tools as possible in action. At the same time, the participants learned the rules of creating educational games and selecting tools. Together, the team thought about the biggest challenges in educational work with young people today. Finally, we focused on dealing with such challenges as the increasingly visible intolerance and radicalization of social attitudes that we can now observe among young people, we created a space for the exchange of good practices in the field of counteracting these problems and planned further actions to minimize them . On this basis, based on the experience, knowledge and skills gained, the participants created their own game scenarios of various types in selected topics, which were included in the multimedia material summarizing the training.
