Objectives

Project was a continuation of excellent cooperation within our informal network - so the development of international cooperation with organizations was an important goal and it was achieved, the more so as the action in the pandemic forced much frequent contact and taking non-standard steps. The main goal of the project was to improve the trainers' competences in outdoor education of youth workers in partners through experiential learning methods by equip them with skills and reach to use methods applicable to youth and youthwork, so as to prepare them to develop and provide effective, evidence based outdoor and experiential education trainings Secound focus was on evidence based education. Learning by doing is a powerful, effective and enjoyable way of learning for young people. The effect is even bigger and more serious if the (outdoor) programs are evidence based. So we have been providing theoretical background to youth leaders - with the aim to improve the effect of these activities and transform fun into a learning process. We planned to focus mainly on aspects related to outdoor education & training communication skills, facilitation, feedback, cooperation, building an atmosphere of support, social inclusion and typical coaching competences, e.g. designing valuable educational processes in youth work - and succes in that matter. Next goal, connected with a "network goal" too was to strengthen an international trainers network of people with similar interests - and it has worked. Our project was related to objectives pursued by the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of education and training. The project also promoted European cooperation in the youth field by building strong connections among the participating organisations and youth which may lead to stronger exchange of knowledge and people in the future. We have achieved all main objectives of project. Project ended with new skills, attitude and knowledge and great workshops done by participants. We as organizations have learned a lot about dealing with a crisis, cultural differences and long-term project management.
