With this project we wanted to meet the needs of a changing world. We wanted young people in the future world to see and understand the need to reduce CO2 emissions, to see the added value of cycling as a mean of transport in terms of better physical shape and to value cooperation, to understand what it is about and to be able to work together even if we don't speak the same language. The direct OBJECTIVE of the project was to create an opportunity for European young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, to be mobile and gain new experiences in a challenging and cooperative spirit, accompanied by physical activity, nature and adventure. The project was intended to promote diversity, intercultural dialogue, common values of freedom, tolerance and respect for human rights and also create opportunities for young people to discover new cultures, customs and lifestyles, mainly through peer learning and building friendships. The learning process during the youth exchange was the result of non-formal education methods. Through the implementation of the project we wanted to respond to the following needs: - need 1: promoting physically active forms of leisure activities among young people - in connection with the growing scale of obesity - need 2: widespread awareness in the local community and building a "fashion" for cycling - need 3: strengthening and development of young people - through posing challenges - need 4: shaping relationship building skills - through shared adventures - need 5: raising young people's awareness of environmental and air pollution challenges
