The project was created by our group at the turn of 2019 and 2020, and the team consisted of young people from various countries belonging to the European Union. The theme of our project, which at the same time took up the issues that were important to us personally, was environmental protection seen from the bottom-up perspective - us, young citizens. As each of us is keenly interested in the subject of environmental protection, the project helped us to learn from each other, and also to introduce a civic approach to climate protection issues. The main goal of our activities was to disseminate and shape good practices and attitudes regarding environmental protection from the perspective of young citizens. To this end, we had a series of meetings with people who work in the field of environmental protection and whose attitudes we could bring to each other. The idea of a bottom-up initiative was important to us, which is why our meetings were not attended by politicians and decision-makers, but people from our communities who are very active in the field of climate protection. As part of our project, we answered the question of what we can do ourselves to make our world cleaner and friendlier, using knowledge about the social, economic and economic conditions of the countries in which we live. Additionally, the elementary dimension of our project was getting to know cultures, customs and enrichment through dialogue. As a project team, we were a group of committed people from countries at different stages in the fight for environmental protection. We wanted to get to know the causes, conditions and effects of these differences in development. The project was to result in the development of our horizons, a better understanding of differences and shared values, and to contribute to an active attitude by young people, and we made additional materials permanently available on the website of our project.
