The purpose of mobility is to respond to the needs of participants regarding the development and improvement of key professional competences, which will contribute to better adaptation to the labor market. Mobility is expected to raise the level of skills, which will contribute to reducing the risk of social and economic exclusion, and the learning outcomes approach should ensure better understanding and comparability of qualifications of learners in different countries. The aim of the project is also to obtain certificates and Europass Mobility documents, which will provide greater opportunities to move around the labor market in Poland and Europe. In the case of teachers, the aim was to familiarize themselves with the technologies used in the enterprise; devices, tools and other technical equipment used in production processes and services; learning the specifics of work in real conditions in the industry related to the profession taught; improvement of practical skills and the use of theoretical knowledge.
The project "Internships – the asset for the future" is directly related to the implementation of the strategic goal: increasing the quality of education based on international cooperation of the European Strategy of Internationalization of the ZSP in Somonino and was to contribute to the development of social, personal, linguistic and professional competences of students and staff of vocational training, and thus increasing the quality of the school's work. The school's goal is the comprehensive development of the student and education of a graduate prepared to perform various functions in society and equipped with competences that will enable him to start in adult life. The project was to promote multilingualism, openness, tolerance, mobility, entrepreneurship among the school community and build the European dimension of the school. It was also a response to the expectations and needs of students and teachers in terms of the possibility of implementing practical vocational training and gaining experience in an international environment. The organization of internships allowed for making the educational offer more attractive and gaining professional experience on the European labor market, confirmed by documents such as: Europass Mobility.
