As part of the project, we wanted to carry out two-week work placements in Portuguese and Spanish industry companies for third-year technician students. INNOVATIONS for this project were to be the change in the length of the internship from four weeks to two weeks and the implementation of a foreign internship in the profession of electrical technician, which has not participated in this type of project so far. The implementation of such a solution was to allow students to learn the realities of both the European labor market (foreign internships) and the Polish market (internships in Poland). One of the key elements of the Internationalization Strategy is to create an image of the school as an institution actively involved in international cooperation. The project developed was intended to help achieve this goal by expanding the school's partners to include a new foreign institution and exchanging experiences with foreign partners. We wanted the participants to improve their professional, linguistic, social and personal competencies through the implementation of the planned activities. The students were to gain comprehensive knowledge of the standards of the job in the local and international context. We wanted to confirm the experience gained with appropriate certificates.
The requirements of the modern European labor market are dynamically evaluating, placing new challenges before the school preparing its students to enter the labor market. Developed by the school, the mission and vision for the development of the Powiatowy Zespół nr 10 Szkół Mechaniczno-Elektrycznych in Kęty described in the Internationalization Strategy is to prepare our graduates for their professional careers in the best possible way. The implementation of the project was to be a response to the development needs of students, teachers and the school. Implementation of the project was to enable third-year students of the technical school to participate in foreign professional internships , and the school to carry out the planned activities and achieve the long-term goals described in this document. Through participation in the project, participants were to improve their professional, linguistic, social and personal competencies. Once they entered the labor market, employers were to gain skilled employees who were motivated to further their education. We wanted the institutions involved in the project to strengthen their position in both the local and European labor markets. The project's activities were to have a positive impact not only on the parties involved, but also on the communities around them.
