Background

The project is in line with the objectives announced in 2019 by the European Commission, during the European Education Summit. The e-learning trainings proposed by the Partnership are convenient due to the organization of the working time of the educators and allow to match the timing of their implementation with the time capabilities of the learners. They meet the objectives of developing new technologies and preventing digital exclusion. Although teachers feel well-prepared for their profession, support early in their career path is not widely available .These are some of the key findings of the TALISTeaching and Learning International Survey. According to executives (school principals), 36% of EU teachers work in schools that lack qualified or high-performing teachers. Activities included improving teacher education programs, exploring flexible entry into the teaching profession, providing opportunities for professional development and career advancement based on transparent criteria. Teachers, thanks to the project, felt better prepared for the profession if their formal education included content knowledge and teaching and learning methods.
