Creativity does not equal youth. The group of people classified as seniors and those on the verge of retirement is growing. We wanted to train seniors (adults) in creativity in the broadest sense. We wanted to achieve broad personal development and the acquisition by seniors of the skills and competencies necessary for life in the information society. We also achieved through the project: we created a space for adults to be creative; we increased the openness to diversity of project participants through the stages. We have achieved the promotion of intergenerational activities and the dissemination of knowledge related to creativity and innovation. We have built and developed intergenerational dialogue through culture. On projects contributed to counteracting stereotypes and mutual prejudices, between young and older people. We formed bonds within the group of participants. We developed communication skills and built. We deepened the sense of identity with the region through culture and carried out audio-visual education and learning about new technologies.
The group of people classified as seniors is growing. At the same time, there is a great diversity in the target group itself, determined by a number of factors, among which the most frequently mentioned are age, education, marital status, or health status. The increasing atomization of society will require more intensive efforts to include increasingly diverse social groups. The age changes taking place in society, the differentiation of social roles and the functioning of society itself require a new and continuous active response to these changes. Acquiring new skills will become a necessity affecting not only seniors but also young people. The combination of social inclusion and support of pathways for acquiring new skills for the target group (seniors and people just before retirement) is essential in achieving the stated goals of the project.
