We applied for the INTEGRART project to address the pressing needs of migrants in terms of creative, informal integration efforts and skills development. We recognized that successful integration of migrants could be enriched through innovative approaches that utilize creativity, art, and informal education. Therefore, the project sought to enhance the quality of informal education for adult migrants, making them active co-designers and co-creators of integration-supporting materials. The project aimed to meet the need for effective integration support by engaging migrants as active co-designers and co-creators. We understood that traditional methods alone might not fully address the diverse challenges migrants face during the integration process. Therefore, we sought to leverage the power of creativity and peer-to-peer learning to provide a supportive and engaging environment for migrants. Some of the skills we tried to address were language proficiency, social interaction, digital skills and soft skills competencies. By addressing these needs and objectives, the INTEGRART project aimed to contribute to the successful integration of migrants and foster their engagement through creativity, art, and digital tools.
