The strategic partnership takes into account the participation of three secondary education schools (high school) from Poland, Romania and Italian. Three educational institutions take part in the project: High School from Warsaw (a school in the urban agglomeration, having residents among its students Targówka and from nearby small towns). School Complex from Constanta (the school is located in a city of 125,000, is a school with a very high level of education, is one of the best in Romania). The School Complex of Villa Castella (in a town of 10,000 in Puglia, Italy). All three schools have a common educational element - bilingual / bilingual teaching. Despite the different locations and social environments - from a small town to a large agglomeration, teaching bilingual attracts and raises the level of teaching throughout the school. Hence the idea for a joint project: getting to know each other, exchanging experiences in the field of bilingual teaching in individual countries. An additional element encouraging such cooperation is the fact that there are opportunities to improve teachers in this field, the acquisition of specific teaching materials are small. Such exchange of experience and implementation the project will be a positive response to such demand. In turn, for students, a very important element will be the opportunity to meet peers from a partner school, an opportunity contact and exchange with foreigners: confrontation of cultures. The main points of the project will be School staff. - getting to know the functioning of individual schools; - lesson hospitalization (conducted in bilingual); - conducting training in every country for teachers (1 - bilingual teaching of a foreign language, 2 - bilingual teaching non-language subjects, 3 - bilingual teaching of non-language subjects in the humanities); Pupils. - participation in lessons at individual schools; - getting to know the culture of individual countries; - developing materials in 3 language versions about the sea that borders with a given country.
The project was fully implemented - all points were achieved despite two main difficulties: the change of director at Istituto Comprensivo in Villa Castelli and the pandemic (impossibility of mobility for a certain period of the project). Including the mobility of teachers and students in the project turned out to be the right choice, it greatly enriched all schools and allowed to combine what is the main content of the school: didactics and upbringing. Added to this was the necessary element of education - teacher training. The variety of partners was also apt. Each school brought something different, and all learned something new, learned something new. Sticking to the project with flexibility proved to be effective. Here, the possibility of quick contact with the supervisor and quick answers and advice on how to act helped. The activities were beneficial from the point of view of the exchange of experiences in bilingual language teaching. The National College "Mircea cel Bătrân" Constanța has a long tradition in this field and offers it in conjunction with the study of the performance of the sciences (mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry). In addition, the diversity of the languages taught (English, French, German) made it possible to observe the specific teaching of these languages (methods, integration into projects, teaching of non-language subjects in modern languages, intervention of native teachers, objectives, university opportunities, etc.). In turn, 46 Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Stefan Czarniecki contributed to a different model of bilingual teaching - based on the Polish educational law - implemented in completely different conditions, because in a non-elite high school with an average student potential. In turn, Istituto Comprensivo from Villa Castelli made it possible to learn about foreign language teaching in a bilingual system - English and French. The teaching staff got acquainted with the bilingual systems of Poland and Romania. A joint analysis in the Italian context leads to the conclusion that at present the Istituto is not ready to introduce bilingual teaching. The main task for the school would be, first of all, to prepare the staff, i.e. to educate the staff of non-language subjects to teach in a foreign language. It will certainly be advisable - what we have already started to do - to continue our cooperation. Through existing channels, but also through new forms of cooperation. We will also analyze this possibility through the ERASMUS+ programmes.
