Our main objective was to empower and train the teachers in our school. Thus, two specific situations were defined: a job shadowing activity and several training courses. With the job shadowing, it was intended that the two teachers who participated in it would be able to transmit their knowledge to the Lithuanian colleagues with whom they worked, but also that they would bring some new techniques and knowledge obtained with colleagues from the Lithuanian school. With regard to the training courses, it was intended that the teachers who participated in them would be able to fill in some of the gaps they pointed out during the initial consultation carried out with all the teachers in the school. Since it is not possible for all the teachers who expressed an interest in training to participate in this project, it was decided that the teachers who participated in the various activities of the project would share the acquired knowledge with their colleagues who had expressed an interest in doing so.
The school decided to submit this project to try to fill some gaps that were detected over the years. Every year, teachers are consulted in order to try to understand what gaps each one presents they consider necessary to fill. In this sense, and based on these gaps, this plan was defined and presented for funding by the Erasmus National Agency. However, some of the difficulties detected still remain to be overcome, so it is intended to continue to develop our training plan in the coming academic years.
