According to the identified needs (SWOT, in PEDE), we set the following general and specific goals : 1 - To strengthen management and intermediate management leadership skills (leading and supervisory practices; management skills, decision making). 2 - To increase technical and pedagogical skills in the teaching staff (pedagogical innovation; language skills; innovative teaching methodologies; and STEM education) 3 - Renewing teaching methods and tools (ICT in teaching practice; gamification in the teaching and learning process; pedagogical methodologies; teaching proactivity for the training of students for professions and needs that will arise in the future) 4 - Train teachers for the CLIL methodology (informal and gradual introduction of bilingual teaching in some subjects) 5 - Strengthening the position of AEVA in the international context (European identity and culture, based on tolerance and respect for others; European dimension of education in intercultural dialogue; and increasing the number of partnerships at international level). The learnings acquired by teachers were disseminated among peers, applied and replicated in the school context.
Under the motto of the Educational Project of the School Grouping (PEA), "School Promoter of Success for All", the project "GATE XXI" resulted from the materialization of the pursuit of the guidelines of this PEA: to combat/eliminate indiscipline, to promote success and school inclusion, to promote citizenship/sustainability and to enhance the European dimension of the school. From the subsequent SWOT analysis (Cf. PEDE), we identified the following needs for improvement, such as: management and leadership skills; communication strategies; new professional and technical skills; sharing of good practices; new teaching methods and interactive tools; transversal skills; capacity building for excellence in the teaching and learning process; language skills; informal introduction of CLIL; sense of belonging; ICT and collaborative projects; implementation and development of international projects. The focus on internationalization of AEVA has become a priority, in the correlation with European values and identity, in the sense of diversity, multilingualism and multiculturalism. Considering these motivations, the following topics were chosen: - digital skills; - key competences; - new methodologies.
