The new pedagogical and social skills acquired by teachers will be integrated into their pedagogical practice, as well as in the pedagogical teams, allowing them to: • create more stimulating and appealing learning environments, facilitating the reduction of failure, indiscipline and school dropout; • motivate students to continue their studies; • improve students' training for entry into active life; • improve teacher training in English; • update your knowledge in the use of new technologies; • make the educational community aware of the importance of cultural and linguistic diversity; • increase cultural and intercultural awareness; • promoting European cooperation in teaching and learning; • increase the frequency of collaborative networking, through the use of Etwinning, for the launch of new international projects.
The Arco Maior Association is applying for this project as a result of a survey of the training needs of its teachers to respond to the educational project in which they are inserted. As a strategy, and this being the first KA1 project, we intend to train the coordinators of the Arco Maior hubs with new pedagogical and organizational tools that allow them to develop pedagogical projects adjusted to the needs of the Project based Learning operation and mobilize the pedagogical teams to share new experiences with their colleagues from other foreign schools developing similar projects. In this way, it is intended that those involved in this application can have Job shadowing activities as a way of experiencing new and different forms of organization and sharing their experiences with their European peers, or attending structured courses for a more complete training.
