The implementation of the TEIA project had the following objectives: the internationalization of the AEA, the development of management and leadership skills, the improvement of teaching processes and the promotion of citizenship and inclusion. The mobility training aimed to promote: the acquisition of innovative pedagogical skills, educational networking, the sharing of good educational practices, the development of skills in the area of inclusive education, the development of participatory and critical citizenship; learning about and adopting good practices in the area of specific educational needs, developing language skills, fostering a European and multicultural identity and increasing levels of motivation and satisfaction. At the same time, the project also aimed to deepen skills in the area of European projects in order to increase contacts with European schools and entities; to learn about other European education systems and good organizational practices, leading to the optimization of existing good leadership practices by promoting motivational and transformational leadership, and to acquire new management skills in order to improve the quality of organizational practices.
The TEIA project - time to teach, innovate and learn, emerged following the elaboration of the European Development Plan as part of the 2019-2023 Educational Project of the Alfena School Group. It is a plan based on improving the educational service provided, reflected in the need to make the organizational structure more effective and to increase the pedagogical training of the AEA's professionals. As such, the aim of this application, through training with a European dimension, was to contribute to the acquisition of better skills linked to the professional profile, to a greater ability to respond to increasingly diverse environments in educational areas, to educational success and to initiate changes such as modernization and internationalization, with a view to a more entrepreneurial and innovative school, educating for the future.
