As the aggregating theme of the Educational Project “A School towards Future”, the following priorities were identified to be fulfilled with this project: - Acquisition of specific training in priority areas; - Improvement of pedagogical practice motivating teachers to innovative practices; - Acquisition of skills in terms of innovative teaching methods and strategies, namely digital skills, in order to build effective learning; - Reinforcement of specific skills in terms of pedagogy and didactics for the teaching and learning process; - Sharing experiences of innovative teaching practices that contribute to the construction of a democratic school and to European citizenship and awareness; - Articulation with other educational institutions in sharing best practices, favoring on-site contact and networking; - Promotion of the internationalization of the school, acquiring a broader perspective and including the school in a globalized society and bearer of common values based on democracy. All the information acquired by the teachers involved in the mobility activities will be disseminated, shared with other members of the school community and applied by the school.
The elaboration of the project was based on the need to acquire a broader perspective, regarding the inclusion of the school in a globalized and European society, contributing to the reinforcement of the fulfillment of the Educational Project, as well as a vision directed towards the innovation, technology, didactics, democracy, pedagogy, citizenship and European consciousness. The vision of the Educational Project, “A School towards Future", assumes the need to have answers/solutions to the challenges that are posed, the implementation of a technological plan, reinforcement of the digital skills of its teachers, acquisition of new skills, innovation in teaching/learning processes and sharing good practices with other European partners. Another important aspect is the desire to internationalize the school, assuming the importance of adopting European values and defending European citizenship, according to democratic practices in articulation with other European peoples, linking the school to the world. Given these assumptions, three priority intervention areas were chosen: a) Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Digital Skills b) Democracy, Citizenship and European Conscience c) Pedagogy and Didactics
