Objectives

This project has a great focus on staff training, and one of our more general objectives is to promote innovation in the pedagogical practices of teachers, making them more appropriate and in line with the educational model in force in our country and with what is recommended at this level in Europe, namely with regard to skills for the twenty-first century. Another of the goals of the project is the development of personal and social skills throughout the school community. We intend through the training of teachers, to be able to empower them to implement in a systematic and consistent way a set of practices that promote Emotional Intelligence throughout the school community. In a more specific context, we also intend to strengthen skills in the field of the use of Multimedia with priority to the production and exploitation of video in the school context. Finally, we hope that the investment in pedagogical innovation and the consequent improvement of practices can lead to more effectiveness, with an impact on improving student outcomes. This year we did not include mobility with students as there were still three active Erasmus+ KA229 projects, already mobilizing a large number of students.

Background

This project emerges as a multiple and solid response to a set of weaknesses detected by the grouping's internal evaluation team, namely related to the rates of school failure that still remain and some resistance to innovation, which has produced some crystallization at the level of pedagogical practices. The project proposes multiple possibilities for training and interaction between European schools, enhancing the personal and professional development of teachers, expecting significant impacts at the level of innovation and improvement of the quality of pedagogical practices. This improvement should have an effect on pupil outcomes, contributing to an increase in school success rates. We also hope to provide a large number of students with the opportunity to experience interaction and cooperation in a learning context with partners from different geographical and cultural areas of Europe, enhancing the realization of joint learning. It is also our goal to join a European education network, which unites the schools of the different countries in terms of practices, skills for the twenty-first century and the fundamental values to be transmitted.
