With this project, we intended to cover all the areas described above, soand that after completion of the activities, its direct beneficiaries could replicate the learning results among peers, in order to reach and involve all our employees in this initial internationalisation process. The objectives were: - To equip ourselves with tools to be able to stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit among our students, from pre-school onwards; - To become a global learning organisation of excellence, providing space for learning and reflection for its staff; - To be able to enable and empower our students by focusing on our own resources and their dreams/projects, equipping them with the soft skills that are so important today, such as adaptability, communication in a foreign language, openness and acceptance of cultural difference, inclusion, among others. To develop an organisation that understands the work and the possible negative consequences of social discourse (having the tools to deconstruct preconceived ideas and stereotypes), promoting in the students a defensive attitude leading them to achieve success; To ensure the development of relevant communicative and relational skills of leadership and staff, as well as the recognition of their learning Increase the quality of teaching in the areas of entrepreneurship and citizenship; Improve our performance in mediation issues and raise the quality of counselingcounselling and special education to empower learners to make decisions in their lives; Intervene successfully, further decreasing the drop-out rate of pupils; Contribute to increasing the language proficiency of our staff; Increase synergies for potential future projects; Learn from the sharing of best practices and closer contact with other cultural and European realities; Build a European community of good practices that can be shared and developed together, thus meeting the needs of the EU 2020 Strategy; To build and strengthen knowledge and cooperation with European partners for future international activities.
IDL had very little experience in European cooperation, but it was keen to develop this process in a constructive, responsible, and sustainable way. Thus, we have decided to apply for this project in order to: Enter in the European Training and learning community in collaboration with other schools, mostly with experience in CLIL methodology, in Education for entrepreneurship, and in international learning contexts with whom we could learn and share good practices and new pedagogical approaches and methodologies. In these learning contexts, it is important that these tools and methodologies are not only shared, but learned so that they can be replicated in each country. This, in turn, will also be done by, on one hand, sharing considerations, ideas, contexts and theories, and on the other hand, by reflecting on how this can be implemented in another context; To establish cooperation protocols with European organisations for joint solutions to common problems and challenges; To provide transnational continuous training to our collaborators, in European organisations recognised for the quality of the training provided; To improve teaching-learning strategies, in favour of the digital and green
