This project identified, right from the project application phase, four major areas that constitute the weaknesses to be addressed in the institution: > Combating school failure. > Mobilizing parents and guardians to value the school as a means to the academic success of their children. > Addressing discipline issues and improving the school environment. > Expanding the range of educational offerings. With this project, the aim was to bring about a change in attitudes and awareness of new realities by: > Recognizing the benefits of a European dimension in education, for example, by establishing future Erasmus+ partnerships with other European participants in training activities. > Increasing awareness within the educational community about the advantages of participating in European projects for the development of 21st-century skills (the 4Cs). > Implementing new teaching and learning strategies, management, organization, and operation methods to reduce dropout rates, involve families in school life, address discipline issues, and promote environmental sustainability.
This project originated from an analysis of the School Educational Project, where the strengths and weaknesses of the organization were identified, along with the identification of opportunities that could be leveraged to overcome the internal weaknesses constraining the school's pedagogical purpose. Following this recognition, efforts were made to understand which of the externally identified opportunities best served to overcome the organization's weaknesses. In addition to regional opportunities, international opportunities were also identified, including training courses and job shadowing activities promoted by the ERASMUS+ program. The Insight project, therefore, falls within the scope of the internationalization strategy of the organizational unit, as defined in the European Development Plan and its goals of promoting the European dimension of the school through the acquisition of effective pedagogical skills and a more European school culture, the development of innovative pedagogical methodologies, and the implementation of mobility projects for all members of the school community.
