With this project, we wanted to achieve some of the goals of the European Development Plan for this school cluster. To do so, 3 priority areas of intervention were set, inclusion and equality, pedagogy and didactics and new technologies and digital skills. For each of these areas, training was chosen to be carried out by teachers, and partnerships were established with training entities. In addition to teacher training, we seek to have an indirect impact on improving school success, by improving the quality of learning, ensuring equal opportunities for students, providing students with skills that increase their employability and promoting a culture of work and effort.
One of the motivations for participating in this project was to implement the European Development Plan of our school cluster, and thus respond to our ambition of internationalization, the contribution to the promotion and implementation of European values, the development of actions that allow the acquisition of skills, focused on teaching and non-teaching staff, and the development of actions focused on acquiring skills for students. A second reason for taking part in this project was to continue a project started in 2017 that also involved training teachers of this institution, and thus establishing European mobility over a longer term, with a defined and comprehensive strategy, involving a greater number of teaching and non-teaching staff, working in this cluster with common objectives. This first project brought benefits to our school cluster, in particular to our students, making it clear that actions of this type would be an asset, which we decided to bet on again. A third reason for taking part in this project was the fact that our school cluster is equipped with cutting-edge technological materials and, in order to make full use of this equipment, we felt the need to train our teaching staff.
