Background

Since the implementation of the PAFC, the Pedagogical Council and departments have been debating the difficulty of applying general and specific criteria for assessing student learning and the need to train teachers to improve the areas of curriculum management, improving methodologies active in the classroom, in the acquisition of knowledge about project methodology and in the promotion of collaborative work between teachers, already felt during the evaluation, to respond to the registered in DR 55/2018. In this sense, this project presented itself as a response to the needs of teachers for training and motivation to promote school success and improve school results. The profile of students in this AE is of low socioeconomic status, which implies that only teachers who are more motivated, more competent for the teaching process /learning, both in terms of stimulating innovative methodologies, such as project work, curriculum management, evaluation action of learning, management of participation and improvement of cooperation between teachers, can contribute to the full success of students. On the other hand, for the implementation of the European Development Plan it was necessary to make this application.
