The implementation of new teaching-learning methods brought significant improvement to the teachers (improved their practices) and therefore not only benefited the teachers, but in essence the students. Through the structured courses and job shadowing and applied activities respectively, teachers were able to enhance their skills and knowledge about the European Union as well as life and studies in the partner countries. This training opened horizons and enabled an enriching exchange of experiences among professionals, who now feel more confident and prepared to face new educational challenges. Another notable result was the building of a European culture within the school. The offer of this programme (Ka101) has promoted a greater cultural openness, encouraging respect and understanding of different European identities. Through their teachers, pupils were better prepared to be global citizens, able to interact in an increasingly interconnected world. The project has had a positive impact on the school organisation itself. Teaching practices have been improved, becoming more innovative and tailored to the individual needs of pupils. The expansion of the network of partnerships with educational institutions at European level has broadened the opportunities for exchange and co-operation (job shadowing), further enriching the educational experience of pupils. In short, the efforts in favour of educational improvement based on these values and innovative practices have demonstrated that it is possible to promote a quality, inclusive, integrated and forward-looking education. The commitment of the teachers, and the management -principal, deputy headmaster and assistant principal- and the openness of the educational community have been key to the success of this project and point to a promising future on the national and European educational scene.
The constant search for 1) International experience: Participating in this Erasmus KA1 project allows us to experience and interact with different educational cultures in other European countries. The exchange of ideas and experiences with educators from other nations is enriching and opens our minds to new perspectives, teaching methods and pedagogical approaches. This experience will also help us to better understand the needs of learners coming from different cultural and social backgrounds. 2) Improve Teaching and Learning: By acquiring new knowledge and skills through the structured courses and job-shadowing, we will be able to implement more effective educational practices in our school. Exposure to new ideas and innovative methods is believed to increase students' engagement and improve their school results. Thus, we hope to strengthen the quality of teaching and learning in our school. Thus, the main objective being, implicitly, we to want to learn from those who do it differently, we prioritized 4 axes/areas and 4 macro objectives: 1 - Improve knowledge in differentiating practices and specific methodologies, namely in the field of Inclusive Education and Citizenship and Development practices, with the aim of responding to the needs of all and each one; Improve Teaching and Learning: By acquiring new knowledge and skills through structured courses and job shadowing, we will be able to implement more effective educational practices at our school. Exposure to new ideas and innovative methods is believed to increase student engagement and improve student outcomes. We therefore hope to strengthen the quality of teaching and learning at our school. 2 - Foster the practice of articulation, collaborative and teamwork, with a view to greater homogeneity of programmes and a global vision of the curriculum, ensuring the full development of the student's competences and capacities; 3 - Acquire knowledge in the organisation and management of school practices, observing good practices in other European schools. 4 - Motivate teachers to change paradigms in a very adverse current context. Thus, we carried out the following activities: 1) Structured courses:- Training in new methodologies/pedagogies, namely in collaborative practices, teamwork, articulation, transdisciplinarity, multidisciplinarity and leadership 8 participants. - Training in methodologies/strategies in the field of Citizenship and Inclusive Education and Digital Education: participants. 2) Job Shadowing - Observation of the organisation and management of European reference schools in the field of curricular flexibility and inclusion, Citizenship : 3 participants . This programme has enabled - the deepening and knowledge of specific methodologies and increase the confidence of teachers and improve their practices that will have an impact on the teaching/learning process, as well as on the motivation of students, through differentiating, innovative and current practices, thus improving school results, the development of skills and strengthening the feeling of European belonging of the Grouping; updating and implementing new methods in school coordination, organisation and management to boost the school grouping in a European context and thus meet current needs and requirements, improving strategies at the level of the various leaderships of the school grouping; - the improvement, integration and inclusion of students, meeting two vectors: responding to the needs and differences of students and increasing the confidence of pedagogical teams in the face of the paradigm shift of Inclusive Education, Citizenship Education and Digital Education. Therefore, the possibility of contacting new realities and new and different teaching and organisational methods/strategies will project ou school at the level of its European dimension. We believe that the areas chosen will allow us to broaden the knowledge of our community and bring new practices and strategies for the effective improvement of the schools that make up this School Grouping.
