Objectives

EPAR is a humanist school that defends European values. Continuing with previous editions of this project, several needs were identified that we sought to achieve, in our view, successfully. As our entire educational process is centered on the student and their technical and human development, the main need is for the actors in this process to become citizens of the future in the European space. Pursuing this humanist and Europeanist vision, we identified the following needs and priority areas of intervention: -Civic and ethical training;- Promotion of team spirit and the development of skills;- Setting personal development objectives; - Promotion of an inclusive school; - Promotion of a school open to the surrounding environment, stakeholders, guardians and companies. Thus, the objectives of our school are to train young people for constant improvement, the development of skills with a view to globalization, and to build successful individual projects, with the involvement of families and companies, aiming for their empowerment for change in the world. Regarding the Staff, the needs are the development of team spirit, the consolidation of partner networks, involving more teachers, through participation and the dissemination of results.

Background

EPAR seeks to be an inclusive and multicultural school opening its doors to the world. We believe that international cooperation plays a fundamental role, as the experience of other and different realities, on the part of the school community, will work to enhance our strategy, providing them with new tools, innovative educational methodologies and the vision of transversality that characterizes the European space. Thus, EPAR intends to give students the opportunity (most of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds and PALOP countries) to undertake mobility, providing them with other experiences and realities. We master the crucial skills to execute the project: - Experience in project management - Financial management capacity - Mastery of topics in relation to training; - Habits of working in partnership - know-how to mobilize material and HR resources; - Proficiency in languages, ensuring close communication with partners and rigor in execution. When submitting this application, we hoped that, with the experience and success of several projects carried out since 2014, we could continue quality and innovative work with new ideas, with the intention of improvement.
