Background

The Covilhã.Forma IV project was promoted by the Covilhã.Forma Consortium, led by the Municipality of Covilhã and made up of the region's main schools as sending organisations - the Quinta da Lageosa Agricultural Vocational School (EPQL), the Quinta das Palmeiras Secondary School (EPQP), the Campos Melo Secondary School (ESCM), the Frei Heitor Pinto School Group (AEFHP) and the Beira Interior Association for Technological and Vocational Training (AFTEBI). This project arose from the combined need of these organisations to improve and diversify their training offer, increasing interest in vocational training and consequently school success. This consortium also aims to promote better professional, personal and social skills among young people in the region, increasing their chances of employment and the quality of their training, as well as contributing to the integrated development of the region, strengthening partnership work and greater international openness.
