The objectives of the project "ETAP Vale+ II Travel, Learn Languages in Europe" were: - Promote the learning of languages and cultures as a passport to citizenship and the world of work - Increase ETAP's capacity to prepare its students for the labor market and for their professional growth - Provide the students and staff of ETAP with opportunities and tools for personal fulfilment - Strengthen ETAP's role as a link to Europe and the world of work
Pombal Technological, Artistic and Vocational School (ETAP) was the first vocational school in Portugal, founded in 1989, and currently has a training offer in Vocational Courses (level 4), Education and Training Courses (level 2 and 3) and Learning Courses for adults. ETAP's action is guided by the approach and integration of the surrounding environment, namely the productive and business fabric that participates in the definition of training and qualification solutions that are more innovative and effective. The Project "ETAP VALE + II Travels, Learns Languages in Europe" aimed to contribute to ETAP's European Development Plan, whose goals were: to boost employability and the professional progression potential of trainees; to improve the technical, pedagogical, and initiative skills of the team; to improve the Vocational Training provided by ETAP and its public recognition.
