Background

The application and submission of this Erasmus+ KA104 project by the CSS Raquel, Lombardi Association entitled: Digital tools for Adult Education, arises from the need of our institution to implement a Strategic Training Plan, which would fill some gaps in the digital skills of its internal and external employees. This project aimed to provide and increase the number of effective and challenging training opportunities for students that provide a positive advancement in the labor market opportunities; Improved teaching and training skills and consequently improved service delivery by improving the digital skills of our trainers/employees forming a cohesive and socially inclusive community. Improved VET opportunities for our learners / trainees including a period of learning abroad .Better trained trainers, able to develop improved training materials, who can observe and undertake good practice from across the partnership in order to reflect and develop our services to our clients; Improved skills recognition and accreditation, using national and EU tools (includes the use and implementation of ECVET, Europass and Youthpass); Ensure we develop our business model, providing quality and innovative services to learners, staff and partners. In order to meet our European and international strategic objectives, we need to ensure that we have in place an effective European Development Plan (EDP) that focuses on the needs of our organizations and provides milestones that can be measured and reviewed Thus, the purpose of this project was first to empower the participants of the structured course with digital skills and tools that are essential for the success of the team and the charity. To this end, we conducted an initial consultation and analysis of the needs of the association, as well as surveys of employees, members and volunteers of the institution, in order to find out their motivations, interests and real needs in digital and technological areas. With the analysis of the results, we drew up a list of gaps and training needs, taking into account the professional profile of the employees and the areas of activity of the institution. Therefore, it was of utmost importance to submit a project under Key Action 1, in order to fill the identified needs and gaps, develop the skills and competencies of associates, improve the quality of services provided by the institution, internationalize and modernize the curriculum of employees, always following a more European vision and training for the use of information technologies and collaborative networking
