With this project, we aimed to: share effective practices to combat absenteeism and dropout among candidates in the RVCC process; improve the skills of the team and adults, with a view to the process of change and organizational improvement; implement innovative and quality practices, promoting more dynamic and engaging training sessions; develop effective strategies to deal with diversity, encouraging the inclusion of all learners; motivate for lifelong learning, promoting qualification and continuous updating; promote the practice of different literacies to ensure comprehensive and tailored training for adults; foster innovative counseling and guidance practices for adults; maximize organizational and educational success factors in order to improve the transition of adults to other levels of education and inclusion in active life; invest in the empowerment and career development of the team, preparing them to face the challenges of adult education from a European perspective; contribute to active participation in European citizenship, promoting the exchange of experiences and knowledge among project participants.
This project arose from the ambition of the Cacilhas-Tejo Secondary School´s Qualification Center, as a promoter of adult inclusion and their integration into active life, aiming to enhance the response to the needs and expectations of its target audience (adults from the municipality of Almada who seek to increase their qualifications and face high rates of absenteeism and dropout). Thus, through strategic European cooperation and mobility activities, the goal was to develop actions that would enable the training of its staff in acquiring innovative, diverse and creative methodologies and dynamics, in order to stimulate the development and implementation of effective strategies to deal with diversity and promote team and adult skills, with a view to the process of change and organizational improvement. It was also anticipated that this project would empower the organization and the team for adult education on a European scale, enhancing the processes of cultural, linguistic, and social diversity inclusion and contributing to the personal, professional and social fulfillment of those involved.
