Preparing Future in U.E.

2020-1-PT01-KA116-0777362020VET learner and staff mobility with VET mobility charterfinalized
Countries: PT · Grant: €59,584.22

Objectives

What is intended to be achieved are the objectives outlined in the Erasmus Plan, combined with the expected results in each type of mobility that this action allows, with an impact on each target audience, that is, students, teachers, staff, and transversal experiences (as with the families, stakeholders, surrounding community). It was intended to enhance the improvement of the quality and diversity of learning in the school's training offer in a different multicultural context, enabling participants to participate more actively in society and promoting employability, thus giving sustainability to EPATV's internationalization strategy. At our school, this KA1 action of the Erasmus program has been a recognized instrument for providing experiences to the most disadvantaged, especially financially, to broken families and even institutionalized young people, who never thought of being trusted to participate in international internships, giving it the character of an inclusive program and promoter of an “open mindedness” in the institution's training project.

Background

This project is the follow-up to the execution of the results transcribed from the Erasmus Plan and from previous projects based on this document, which is set on EPATV’s strategy, as well as on the school's Educational Plan and which responds to the needs listed by those responsible for administrative and pedagogical management. ERASMUS+ and, in particular, this key action KA1 for the mobility of learners and of VET staff represents an important part of the school's DNA, as it is an instrument for lifelong training of all major assets that EPATV has - which are its students, teachers and non-teachers, families and the entire surrounding community, thus allowing, in a targeted and financed way, to contribute to the formation of "good citizens", in line with European policies. In addition to the advantages mentioned, one more reason is the responsibility that the school must have in forming a more cohesive, inclusive, digital, ecological, and multilingual society, offering the same opportunities equally, especially to the most disadvantaged, who would otherwise, would never have the opportunity to take part on an international experience, growing as a European citizen.
