Objectives

Besides the internationalisation of Forave mentioned in the previous point, we intended, with the implementation of this project, that the participants would acquire a greater enrichment of their cultural and professional preparation, foster understanding, group spirit, initiative and tolerance. They would also reinforce the quality and the access to professional training in the European labour market and increase and improve their skills, so that they could understand more easily the different technological and organisational realities and the labour world that awaits them. This project also intended, through the contact between teachers of technical areas and companies, the acquisition of new knowledge, the development of innovative practices in the field of vocational training and to provoke in them, availability for the improvement of the quality of the educational practices and vocational training. It also served, through the contacts obtained, to establish stable and lasting partnerships.

Background

In the Educational Project Development Programme, a support tool for planning and implementing improvements in the school, whose development and sustainability mobilises the educational community and its resources, there is a European development plan, with specific actions that meet the proposed objectives of internationalisation of the school. This internationalization also comes in response to the city council which, through various initiatives, has sought to provide and stimulate agents to open their doors to the global world (project Made In), and to companies in the region that, many of them being in a process of internationalization, ask the school for human resources that can respond to this desideratum. In this sense the participation in several Erasmus+ projects, and in the foundation of a new European association of technical schools (INNOTECS) and the partnership with the Euro School Net 2000, sought to create conditions for this internationalization to happen and that teachers and students can gain a set of skills and characteristics that allow them to be agents of change in an increasingly global world.
