In addition to the aforementioned, CENFIM also considers that the opportunity to carry out Mobilities in Europe enhances two purposes that are considered to be of the greatest importance: on one hand, stimulating excellence in learning, rewarding merit and thus encouraging educational achievement of trainees in the training process, through objective selection criteria, on the other hand reinforcing professional skills and providing new opportunities for employability in the European space, even though our trainees are inserted in a sector that in Portugal presents conditions of full employability. These opportunities to contact different European contexts and organizations necessarily also trigger the broadening of the vision in the cultural and social sphere.
CENFIM annually in its training activity have around 3,000 young people in qualification training, whether in Apprenticeship or the field of Technological Specialization courses. This project, like other Mobility projects that CENFIM has continuously sought to lead, naturally integrates the same objectives and expectations as always and which are linked to this European Initiative: Stimulating the growth of professional and personal skills in trainees, expanding the trainees' perspective on professional practices, and reinforcing the social, cultural and linguistic dimension with this experience provided in other European contexts, providing them with a greater perception of European identity and citizenship and contributing to an increase in the potential for mobility in space European.
