Objectives

The general objective is to continue the work developed over almost three decades of mobility, currently translated into the school's internationalization strategy. We proposed carrying out a set of activities with the aim of providing all participants, in the most inclusive scope possible, with European mobility experiences for active citizenship and an experience of their own European identity in all its diversity. Thus, all participants, young people in initial training, graduate students and staff, were able to enjoy mobility experiences in different European contexts, satisfying their needs not only on a technical and professional level, but also on a social and personal level. We continue to focus on working in close collaboration with the companies in our region, with which we dialogue, questioning them about their needs, in order to equip our young people with the essential skills for their future insertion in the job market, each increasingly demanding and competitive, not only on a regional or national scale, but also on a European scale. Highlight EPF's priority in encouraging the participation of young people with fewer opportunities.

Background

The EPF Strategic Internationalization Plan for 2020/2025 fully supports the application for this Project. It is part of a line of continuity of what our work has been over the last few years within the scope of European projects involving the entire educational community. In a first phase, as the Leonardo da Vinci Program and more recently with the Erasmus+ Program. However, it is our conviction that we can and must improve our practice in order to benefit our young people and our teachers and trainers, promoting the development of skills and the sharing of knowledge that is increasingly differentiating in teaching. If we take into account the context of change that is currently being experienced in Europe, it is urgent that our young people, and also professionals, all European citizens, be challenged and prepared for the opportunities that are offered to them in a broader context of the European space. To this end, our mobility experiences are a tool that encourages, through the sharing of experiences and good practices, the enhancement and promotion of European citizenship and European cultural heritage, understanding the specificities of each one of us. We are a EUROPEAN SCHOOL.
