EPVT had clearly defined the objectives it intended to achieve with the implementation of this project, focusing mainly on the personal, social, emotional and professional development of students and school staff as an organization and as an agent of development in the community and country. Participation in this project thus had a central purpose: to provide opportunities and experiences that favored meaningful learning in different cultural and professional contexts in Europe. Therefore, our objectives were: to favor the development of soft and hard skills of every one, as a person and citizen, and the continuous improvement of the school organization as an entity whose mission is to contribute to the integral development and appreciation of people in the region in which it is inserted as well as zones of influence. At the same time, continuing to consolidate the school's external image was also one of the major objectives of this project. For this reason, and given the constraints caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in the world, the project was developed with a change in one of the initially planned mobilities, a situation that was managed with the collaboration of the European partners of EPVT.
EPVT applied for this project in order to continue the actions outlined within the scope of its internationalization strategy. In this context, the reasons that led us to enroll in the project were the following: to stimulate initiatives that favor the reinforcement and development of competences of different nature of the school's internal stakeholders, to contribute to a greater involvement of young people in the construction of their paths and life projects , to consolidate the school’s external image, as a reference entity in the fields of education and professional training of young people, at both national and European level, and to collaborate with entities, partners and other agents, to reinforce social inclusion and employability of all, in today’s world. In short, the application for this project aimed to promote concrete actions to favor the achievement of the school's strategic objectives, expressed in its educational project. In this way, the ambition was not only to provide adequate responses to education and training needs, but also to promote equity, social cohesion, strengthening self-confidence and problem-solving ability in different contexts, of every participant as well as the educational community.
