This project was developed in Peniche, Portugal and has lasted for 7 days. Iniatially, the project were supposed to happen on 30th August until 4th September 2020 but because of the pandemic situation, it was not possible to do it. So, all the partners had a lot of online meetings during 2020 and 2021 and decided all together, to postpone the project some times (because of the uncertainty of Covid-19) for 7th April untl 14th April 2022. The Youth Exchange was based on non-formal education; our aims were to bring together youngsters from different countries: Portugal, Slovakia, Italy and Romania. After the situation of the begging of Covid-19, two of our partners - Wide View Association and Replay Network aps- were really affected by pandemic conflicts and they decided to do not participate in the project and so, we asked permission to our NA, to change our partner and also to each partner bring more one leader and two participants. The partner that we have really good connections and also another approved projects, were Udruga Zmergo and they easily found participants to come on the dates that the partners from Slovakia and Portuagl were already decided. Also Sytev had facility to find more 2 participants and 1 leader to send to the project. The participants had between 13 and 18 years old. We expected these youngsters to learn from each other through different dynamics and outdoor activities, as well as through the discussions and ideas they explored during the exchange. These helped them gain teamwork skills and decrease language barriers. Most of the organisations involved in this project work with youngsters with fewer opportunities. We achieve the following objectives: - Created consciousness of behavior in the young people; - Reflected about the policies of each country concerning the topic; - Discussed themes connected with the problem and their impact on lifestyle, self-awareness and involvement in iniciatives in the public life; - Motivated participants to let them share knowledge, information and experiences, to inspire them to act as multipliers for awareneed on the topic of sustainable Development Goals; - Promote the Erasmus + Programme as a tool for social intervention, as the project is connected with its main priorities and characteristics, such as the European Cooperation in the Youth field and the promotion of youngsters "Active European Citizenship" in order to foster social coehsion in the EU and easing mutual understanding between young people concerning sustainable development through creativity and arts. The main theme of the YE were sustainable development in the European Union and the 17 sustainable development goals (SDG), defined by the United Nations to be achieved by 2030. Putting all the youngsters working together, in a multicultural environment, could be great for them to develop ideas and motivation for the next generations.
