Objectives

The theme chosen for this Youth exchange project, Into the Wild is closely related to an order of reason, namely the promotion of leadership skills and group management in the European generation of youth. Our goal is to make participants from different European countries think together and develop skills and methods of working together. We also intend through this project and after Brexit to reinforce the idea to fight it for the remoteness and alienation of the younger generations about what is the common European project, as well as its unifying, social and economic meaning, verified daily through numerous sources information, such as the mass media, academic studies and European and national reports / directives. With this project, we want to cement the European spirit of our young people, taking advantage of this opportunity offered by the Erasmus + Youth in Action Program, so that we can receive associations from our partners in Erasmus + Youth in Action projects in which we have already participated outside Portugal. The partners of this project were chosen taking into account their local realities, similar to those of our group and the region where we are located, as well as originating in more inland areas and dealing with more disadvantaged youth audiences, because even though this interiority causes countless employability problems for our young people, we still have young residents working with the common goal of changing these trajectories and giving visibility to their region in a national and international context. The description of our partners. They were also chosen according to their skills, as all these organizations already have extensive experience in associative work with young people in territories with low population density, and this work is already known by our association because we have already been partners in international projects.
