In the sequence of developing the project “Active Human(s) Rights”, in which Youngsters became acknowledged with Education for Human Rights (HR), Active Youngsters from "Youth for the Future" and partner organizations aimed to create the “Active Human(s) Rights 2.0” project. In this new project Youngsters learned how to actively contribute for protection of Human Rights at local, regional and European level. This is was accomplished by learning about the mechanisms of protection of Human Rights at European and Global level and also by getting in touch with NGO’s and social movements which work for Human Rights promotion and protection. Therefore the main aim was to give tools to young people to be more proactive in protecting Human Rights. The specific objectives were: - Raise awareness of the young people involved about clear violations of Human Rights; - Alert to the imminent danger of climate change; - Equip young people with tools to be more active in the protection of Human Rights; - Teach young people to film and edit video; - Create a project toolbox; - Hold a Human Rights festival with the community; - Create a digital campaign for awareness on Human Rights; - new one which we added during the project as a plus.
