Through the implementation of this project, we wanted to ensure a favorable environment for the professional and personal development of all students with a view to their inclusion in the school and social environment, by capitalizing on the skills acquired by teachers on training courses. The objectives of the project are: -Increasing by 10% the passability of students with functional illiteracy, in recent years identifying more and more among the students of our school. -The use of non-formal learning methods and techniques in 20% of the classes; through the training courses, the teaching staff acquired knowledge, skills and attitudes and using them during the classes, dynamizing the activities and motivating the students. - Developing communication skills, understanding and valorization in practice the acquired knowledge. Teaching staff can also have deficiencies in communication skills, that's why through the training courses the teachiers have acquired information on communication techniques. - Increasing the motivation to learn through coaching activities is an objective thought in the context of positive results in the school environment of coaching. Basic techniques were acquired by the teachers and used in lessons.
Following the analysis regarding the training need of teachers in our school and the needs of students who arrive at our school with a low level of basic knowledge, we identified three general needs that determined the application of this project: - Raising the level of preparation and basic training of students to meet the requirements provided in the curriculum - Teacher training in accordance with national and European standards - Increasing the European dimension of the institution by participating in European programs. Before writing this project, another Erasmus+ project took place in our school, which aimed to reduce school dropouts and we wanted a continuation of the training activities that would support the students of our school. We applied to this project because the students of our school come from various social backgrounds and the selection process of students in the high school level is inconclusive and many of them do not have basic knowledge: it is difficult for them to understand the texts, the requirements and the tasks that they have to solve and that is why teachers must have specialized knowledges and skills to help them achieve good results in education.
