By implementing this project we wanted to offer teachers the opportunity to overcome the excessive traditional way of preschool education and to be able to create content, methods and materials so as to know the learning characteristics of each child, to obtain positive results with them, to involve the family and to create an environment suitable for the development of happy children in kindergarten. We aimed to ensure that the new skills and knowledge gained can be passed on to other teachers, to be implemented in carrying out daily activities with children so that all lead to facilitating an environment in which the child to act and adapt to new challenges. Objectives achieved : -participation of 6 teachers in training courses for the acquisition of skills in adapting the teaching style to the learning style of preschoolers; -improving the competencies of other 20 educators in the organization for the use of innovative teaching methods for knowing the child; -improving the learning outcomes of preschoolers by at least 20% by the end of the project; -increasing the presence at current and extracurricular activities by 15-20% by the end of the project.
Our organization has a European development plan that aims to increase the quality of educational services offered to preschoolers by discovering and promoting European values, teacher training, participation in international educational projects and exchanges of experience in the care and education of preschool children. We applied for this project starting from the identification of the institutional need for professional training of teachers regarding the adaptation of the personal teaching style to the learning style of each child. We considered that if teachers will be better prepared to discover the specifics of learning of each child and if they organize activities with them according to the specific manifestations of a predominant intelligence discovered individually and in groups, then children will have a better adaptation to the kindergarten environment. participate in greater numbers in current and extracurricular activities and will avoid early school leaving by offering a positive start, successful in the next school years. The teachers correlated the teaching style with the predominant learning style according to the Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
