“Elena Cuza” National College aimed, through the implementation of this project, to support the development of the specific competences of teachers in order to approach emotional intelligence in school activities, given that this weakness was highlighted, especially since it is provides training for educators / teachers, respectively graduates, by using innovative strategies, intercultural dialogue developed through programs with a European dimension. Mobility-targeted training courses allow the acquisition of new skills, helping participants to develop skills in understanding and managing emotions, conflicts and negativity, to get to know methods and tools successfully used in other EU education systems in order to improve curricular and extracurricular activities and to transfer them to students from the pedagogical profile. Secondly, considering the relationships between students, which are marked by several forms of physical, psychological and verbal violence, it is therefore appropriate to strengthen teachers’ skills to manage bullying cases optimally and to reduce their number, also through the use of THE EUROPEAN ENABLE program.
"Elena Cuza" National College is an educational unit in Bucharest with vocational classes , Pedagogical profile, specialization primary school teachers and early childhood education, Theoretical, Science and Humanities profile. The mission of our institution is to provide a quality educational act and to contribute to the development of the academic and social skills of our students. Consequently, national and European programs and partnerships are carried out within our institution in order to align with the educational standards of the European Union and actors of other educational systems. Within the Erasmus+ Program, this is the first project of KA1 mobility experiences in which our school has been involved, which is beneficial for the professional development of teachers. In our view, this project is justified by the need to train teachers in the innovative field of emotional intelligence and in the fight against bullying, carried out more effectively in an intercultural context, allowing access to examples of good practices and knowledge from the European area, adapted into the national context. Thus, the European dimension of education is thus strengthened.
