The main purpose of this project was to acquire the skills needed in order to understand and fight against different types of bullying in schools. We also aimed to ensure a safe and positive learning environment in accordance with the national and European values.
The project "Bullying down, inclusion up!" emerged in the context of more and more frequent presence of violence and discrimination among students of all ages. That is why we considered the professional development on this topic to be of vital importance. Another reason that led to the development of the project was the promulgation of the law 221/2019 which is aimed at reducing violence in schools. Moreover, we identified a need for professional training in this respect, as the teachers involved in mobilities will be part of the committees tasked with coordinating the activities meant to reduce the impact of violence and bullying in our school and will provide guidance to all the staff.
