Objectives

Through the implementation of this project, we aimed at empowering, until 31.08.2022, a percentage of at least 10% of teaching staff in the design and development of non-formal educational activities, as essential and complementary ways to achieve the objectives set by the training programs. We also targeted the training of at least 10% of teaching staff for the team design of integrated curricula based on innovative learning by doing approaches, of learning situations based on solving real, relevant problems that stimulate the scientific creativity of students, by participating in training courses that allow them access to European practices. Last but not least, we wanted to develop, during the project, a series of professional skills of a percentage of at least 10% of the school's teaching staff, by participating in training courses that allow them to acquire theoretical knowledge and good European practices, for the practice of a relevant, participatory and differentiated educational approach, which will develop students' key competencies of the 21st century.

Background

We applied to this type of project to allow the school's teaching staff to connect to European professional training resources, to get involved in projects and partnerships and thus to contribute to the development of the European values and dimensions of our school. Following the European Development Plan carefully, we complied with the development of the curricular area, the improvement of human resources from a professional point of view and the expansion of the network of partners from schools involved in the development of such projects. Also, through its objectives, this project provided aspects that our educational institution aims at in terms of the personalized development of the curriculum by promoting the principles of diversity, by training social and civic skills and by ensuring equity in education through equal opportunities among the students. This project allowed us to achieve a close relationship with other non-governmental organizations, local public institutions and the development of partnerships with other local, national and European institutions.
