In order to give our school the desired European dimension, it was necessary to improve the coordination skills of European projects and to develop the intercultural skills of the teachers. The European opening of the school, as well as the motivation to participate in mobility projects in which the students will be involved, are two great objectives that we wanted to include in the education process. By participating in this course, the four colleagues will be able to teach others how to look for partners using the Erasmus + platforms.
The major concern of the teaching staff is to provide all students with a quality education, giving them the chance to integrate and, at the same time, to be competitive on the labor market. Although we want to offer Romanian education a European dimension, our college has not organized or participated in any European project until now. Due to the lack of experience regarding participation in European projects, our school has not established direct contacts with schools from European countries, and our teachers have not benefited from the opportunity to exchange experience with their counterparts from other schools through which - could have developed intercultural skills and language skills. Therefore, we wanted to accumulate the necessary experience to write European projects and develop partnerships with other countries.
