Through this project, the improvement of teacher training at the European level was pursued by acquiring and developing the skills and abilities that would allow them to ensure, more than they did in the past, equal opportunities for education for all school students. In accordance with the provisions of the European Development Plan, the objectives of the project, correlated with the identified needs, were: General objective: - European optimization of skills for at least 30% of school teachers, in order to develop an inclusive education and ensure equal opportunities for students at risk of leaving school early, which will reduce school dropouts (by at least 5%) and absenteeism annually (with a minimum of 20%). Specific objectives: 1. Development of the specific competencies of a modern and inclusive education for 16 teachers through direct European training 2. Development of communication skills and management of risk situations for at least 30% of teaching staff, in order to strengthen the bond with the family and prevent students from dropping out of school 3. Through the assumed vision, that of "School close to you!" we aim to support the development of all students, according to their age and individual characteristics, so that, through quality education and equal opportunities, they can ensure academic success and successful socio-professional insertion. In recent years, we have faced an alarming increase in the rate of absenteeism and school dropout, and the drop in school results. Our students come from disadvantaged categories: families with a precarious financial situation; mono-parental families; with one or even both parents gone to work abroad; commuter children; with parents with a low level of education who do not support their children's schooling. Taking into account the identified needs and knowing the impact of collaborations, European trainings on the activity in the school, it was considered that the European training of teachers for: modernization of didactic strategies; optimization of school-family cooperation; the efficient management of classes could contribute to improving the school situation of students, to optimizing the school-family relationship and to shaping the premises of a quality education that ensures school success and socio-professional integration.
