Objectives

The target group targeted by the project was formed by 3 groups of students from the vocational school and the high school. The main objective was the training of general and technical skills and competences at a high quality level in the initial training for 55 students (15 . behaviors, key competences, of all participants coming in a proportion of 60% from social environments at risk of exclusion, in order to increase competitiveness and the degree of employment in the dynamic world of the labor market and the development of cooperation with external partners capable of providing education and professional training quality. The objectives were established from the need to combine theoretical knowledge with practice, to provide the strength to of quality and to reduce school dropout. The training of students in training environments as close as possible to the labor market in Europe leads to their professional development and the development of skills and attitudes to European standards.

Background

The application for the project was submitted due to the students' need to carry out internships in real working conditions in order to acquire technical, professional and social skills necessary for the future workplace. In our college, internships can be carried out at workshops (textiles, electronics) or at the economic agents with which the school concludes partnership contracts. Unfortunately, fewer and fewer of the partner economic agents want to receive students to carry out practical training, so that the professional training of the students is mainly based on theoretical acquisitions, less on practical skills. The insufficient endowments of the school's workshops and laboratories do not allow us to keep up with the technological evolution in the field of textiles, computer technology, trade, and this is because more and more new machines and equipment appear, with more and more sophisticated technology and performance, increasingly advanced software. Our students need spaces with modern, state-of-the-art facilities, complex training that includes interdisciplinary training, contact with a real work environment, organized according to the requirements of European standards and with specialized staff.
